Son of Samuel and Elizabeth Davison, of Bridge End, Gracehill, Ballymena, Co. Antrim.

The Ballymena Observer of 10th August 1917 reported: Lce Cpl. A. Davison 108th MG Coy. Intimation has reached the parents of L.cpl. A. Davison of the Royal Irish Rifles (Central Antrims) that their son was killed on July 1st 1916. He was serving with the Machine Gun Coy. Deceased, who was 18, was the son of Samuel and Elizabeth Davison of Bridgend, Galgorm, Ballymena.
