Paul Reed

Paul Reed is a leading military
historian, who specialises in the two World Wars. He has been visiting
battlefields all over Europe for nearly thirty years, and has lived on
the Somme for over a decade. He has worked as a researcher and
Battlefield Guide, and is the author of several books on WW1. Paul also regularly contributes to BBC TV programmes, such as Timewatch and
Meet The Ancestors.
He is currently working on several books
about WW2 and a revised edition of his Walking
The Somme.
He recently worked on Last
Day of WW1, which is a Timewatch special and will be
shown in November 2008. Paul is currently Historical
Consultant for a major BBC1 series relating to WW1 which
will also be screened in November 2008.
